Traffic control that disappears flush with ground level. Aesthetically pleasing and impassable to traffic.

Rising Bollards provide a neat solution to preventing the passage of vehicles without the requirement for gates and have a minimal impact on the environment for town centres and historic areas.

Bollards can be used individually or up to four units can run from a single control unit.Typical uses are:

Residential and commercial entrances
Traffic lane control
Anti ram raid for shopping precincts
Control of pedestrianised areas / Traffic limitation.
Replacement of rising arm barriers in vandal problem areas.
BFT Model Stoppy L Rising Bollard
The Stoppy L has a full 500mm extension and is fully raised in just 6 seconds. The 210mm heavy gauge bollard is galvanised and ram resistant.
This unit is fully assembled and pre-wired, ready for installation.
There is no hydraulic plumbing and the bollard is fitted with a 6000mm multi core flex.

The multi function controller will run from 1 to 4 separate bollards in conjunction. High visibility is guaranteed by a set of programmable (flashing or constant) L.E.D’s around the top of the bollard (Stoppy L only).

Optional extras include battery back up to maintain locking during power failures and a heating kit to provide icing in cold areas.

You will need a 1100mm deep x 400mm wide hole. Gravel base, sand support and concrete top ring.
